1. What is a cookie?

Cookies are small text files that websites you visit save in your browser or on your device. Browser storage (local storage) works in a similar way: it allows the site to remember a preference related to your visit.

2. Essential cookies and browser storage

  • Correct display of pages and a secure connection
  • Operation of appointment and pre-consultation forms and the AI assistant chat
  • Remembering that you have seen the cookie notice
  • Remembering that you have closed the contact card in the bottom right corner

These records are necessary for the Site to function and are not used to build a profile of you.

3. Analytics cookies

The Site may use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics for visitor statistics. When enabled, these tools place cookies that measure page views and use of links such as phone, WhatsApp and forms in aggregate. This measurement is not carried out to identify visitors.

4. Third-party cookies

  • Google Maps: the map on contact and treatment pages loads when you approach that section of the page.
  • YouTube: videos on the Site load only when you play them, in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com).
  • WhatsApp: when you click a WhatsApp link, WhatsApp's own terms apply.
  • OpenAI (ChatGPT ads): we use OpenAI's measurement code to see how our ads on ChatGPT perform. It places a cookie that recognises whether you arrived from an ad, and notifies OpenAI when a form is submitted or when the clinic's phone or WhatsApp link is clicked. The notification contains the event name and the page address, not what you typed into the form.

These services may process data abroad; the relevant companies' privacy policies apply.

5. Managing and deleting cookies

  • Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Safari: Settings → Safari → Privacy & Security
  • Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

You may delete or block cookies and site data at any time. If you do so, some parts of the Site may not work as expected.

6. Retention periods

  • Session records: deleted when you close the browser
  • Preferences (cookie notice, contact card): until you delete them from your browser
  • Analytics cookies: up to 24 months
